This always amazes me how much time and small businesses waste money on marketing. Time and again you will find a small business owner spends time or money on the latest gizmo or fashion without knowing how it will benefit the business. Often marketing is a business case that is still alive though!

You must realize that you are small businesses affected, either negatively or positively, by your marketing. This marketing may result from a conscious decision of for example; you forgot to attend the AGM of the local business association. Your party, such as deciding to sponsor a golf day, or can happen by default

To ensure that all your marketing actions and inactions are designed to get benefit for your business you must use the one small business marketing tool: Right “Marketing Plan”

Let’s briefly consider how this business marketing tool can benefit for your small business before you watching the TV guide or go to sleep.

First consideration: Marketing Plan defines what your target market is? It mean: with your marketing effort you know to do who you should be targeting your market? Because when you know to do that, you not going to spend much money and time on marketing effort that are not going to reach your target market.

Third consideration: to be able to measure the results of your marketing efforts and make improvements for the future can be done by carrying out a marketing plan that ensures that the feedback mechanism and measurable to be in the right place.
